What about the Callaway Cyclone V16 based on four Yahama motors? Made 550HP from 4L NA.

Except it isn’t. LS-inspired, perhaps, but they basically cherry-picked the best features from a bunch of different engines. There’s LS, SBC, SBF, BBC etc in that thing.
And regardless of “cool” making it an OHV engine along the lines of the LS was probably the best thing they could have done. #1 it allowed them to design in off-the-shelf parts that are proven already and #2 a V16 OHC engine would be HUGE. And heavy.
